If you’re like me and feel like there’s too much to learn, to catch up on, to know, so that we can be an ally for marginalized communities and ideas – then I’m going to recommend Blinkist. I’ve used it for years for business books, but I’m finding myself exploring other genres and domains regularly.
According to Blinkist, you can finish their version of almost any book in 13 minutes or so. Like all of their titles (dubbed Blinks), they condense the core concepts of every book into the most bite-size and digestible format. From there, you can feel a bit more enlightened about the topic, and decide if you want to pick up the full book or not.
For me, it’s the best way to quickly gain exposure into popular books so you don’t miss out on the conversation. Especially if you’re a nefarious subvocalizer like me.
There is actually a deal right now too where you buy one subscription and get one for free. A great deal to split with a spouse or nerdy friend. If you’re interested, check it out!
