Center Grove Orchard
Having a child takes you places you wouldn’t normally go. Even though my wife and I have always gone to children’s movies, and were the only childless couple at the Barnum and Baileys Circus at Wells Fargo Arena last year, we’ve recently found ourselves in places strictly frequented by genuine families.
With the fall season upon us, and a beautiful 9-month-old daughter raring to go pick pumpkins, my wife and I Googled local pumpkin patches. Luckily, we found this:

And we went.
All I can say is WOW. I would have never imagined that such a cool little place would be so close to home. An family owned apple orchard, more commonly found in the Northeastern US, that has expanded itself into a small amusement park, complete with a giddy-excited atmosphere. Fantastic.
My daughter had a great time, even without us having to buy a pass to get into “The Farmyard”.
If you want to know more about the orchard, I’ll let you find out at the link. I just wanted to make sure I did a little something to help spread the word, and help keep a small business growing.
